4
Den4 meets for regular meetings (unless otherwise noted
below at the Daikeler's home:
Directions to the Daikeler's (50 LeGrande Avenue in Tarrytown)
There is an intersection in the middle of town at 7-11.
That’s Neperan and Broadway.
Go East on Neperan,
Up the hill to Hamilton.
Turn left on Hamilton to LeGrande
Turn right on LeGrande.
The road turns to the left, 50 is the yellow house on right.

Friday, October 17, 5:45-7:00 pm, “Show and Sell” popcorn selling event
at Third Friday, in front of Hope Hose fire house on Main St.
at 7:15 pm, Den meeting (location to be announced)
Saturday, October 18 – Thunderbird Games, Croton Pt. Park , 11:30 – 4:00.
(overnight camping optional) This is a district-wide event where the
Boy Scouts set up activities for the
Cub Scouts to play. It’s a lot of fun. I think it costs $12 per person
(it’s a fundraiser for the older Scouts). Camping out that night is optional,
complete with bonfire and a show.
Fri/Sat,
October 24-25 – We man a snack table at the
Haunted Hayride, where we
run concessions ~7:00-11:00
pm; this is a fundraiser for our pack. Robin and I are in charge of
this; please sign up with Susan or Robin for a time to work the stand with your
scout. It’s fun!
Sunday, October 26, 10:00-2:00 –
Cub Scout Food Drive in
front of Stop & Shop (sign up for a time with Clare Farmar)
Subsequent pack meetings are on
the pack calendar, as are dates for spring events like Pinewood Derby, Blue and
Gold Dinner, Bowl-a-Ree.
January 24, probable date for a “camp-in” at
Liberty Science Center .
