Bring your family for the day and a friend for the day and overnight ! We'll be having our first outing the weekend of Saturday, Sept 16th 5:00 PM to Sunday, noon September 17th Scouts and their families are asked to bring a side dish or dessert enough for a family or two as the troop will supply hotdogs and hamburgers. Starting time 5:00, Saturday / Pick up 12:00 Noon We will meet and cookout at the Philipse Manor Beach Club (1 Riverside Dr, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591). We will overnight in the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse at Kingsland Point Park . Permission slips are needed for the overnight ! After the overnight, the boys will be performing a service project Sunday morning helping to clean up and maintain the grounds near the lighthouse. Families are welcome and encouraged to come and help working alongside their son and the troop. Equipment / Camping Gear Boys are expected to bring standard overnight gear including flashlights, change of clothes, sleeping bag and mat as we will be inside the lighthouse. If friends are attending there are some spare sleeping bags in our store room that can be used if they don't have a sleeping bag.
